STEVEN GERRARD has handed Liverpool a huge boost by revealing he will be fit to take part in pre-season.
The England and Reds skipper had a shoulder operation six weeks ago.
Midfielder Gerrard, 33, said: “It’s going well and feeling strong.
“I’m not too far away, maybe a couple of weeks away from contact and being back in full training. I’m itching to get back.”
